I went on a trip and had the best pomegranate juice in the world made right in front of me., so when I got home I needed a citrus juicer. My choices were getting something mechanical or this but, I have arthritic hands so the electrical was a better choice. I can make a big pitcher of juice in less than half an hour. It has a lot of power so the juicing cone continues to spin even with a lot of pressure. You have option to use the lever to press or your hand. ALL the juice was extracted from my fruit. I'm not a pulp lover and I was thrilled when most of the pulp was left in the bowl. But for my Mom who is a pulp lover, it was easy to scoop out the pulp for her glass of juice. Besides that, it was very easy to assemble (remember the pin on the back of the handle) and it was easy to clean too. All the removable pieces are dishwasher safe. It's also smaller than a juice extractor ... so it doesn't take up a lot of counterspace and I can store it in the cabinet too....
