This review is from: Jack LaLanne\'s Ulitimate Power JucierThis is a great machine. I had one of the cheap ones and it was not very good, so I took a chance on This item and it exceeded all of my expectations. It halps me make great healthy juices with both fruits and veggies. The cleaning is easy enough, as long as you clean it soon after operation, if not it takes much longer. The recipe book that came with the unit is also very easy to read and follow. I highly reccommend this juicer....This review is from: Jack LaLanne\'s Ulitimate Power JucierI just bought this at my favorite wholesale club store (the one that rhymes with Moscow) for ninety bucks. I didn't buy any produce, so I used what I had at home; baby carrots and cherries (not in recipe book). Had to pit the cherries with a big stiff straw (the kind that come with carnival cups that you can whistle through). I let my 14 year old son (LOVES junk food; not so much healthy stuff; but all my kids LOVED salad from before they were 2), and he GULPED the whole thing down! I barely even got a sip of my carrot-cherry juice! LOVE the huge recipe book! It is like a real book! 190 pages with color pages and at least a couple of recipes per page. Not just drinks, but also real recipes using the pulp. There are 84 drinks/smoothies, 13 frozen treats, 9 dressings, 18 baked goods, 8 soups, & 9 salsas/dip recipes. The pulp was pretty dry, so I got a good amount of juice out of it. It ran really quiet. It was really easy to take apart, but I hope I don't lose the crescent tool! I would give it 5 stars if it came with a juice collecting container. I don't like using my own glasses. Also, it really isn't tall enough for high-ball glasses. I guess phone books in this digital age might come in handy after all! It was a bit messy to clean as the pulp did start to build up in the lid (kinda like a lawn mower can if the grass is a bit damp); too many crevices. But it did come with all the other features I was looking for; separate pulp container (instead of IN the juice body that you'd have to disassemble to empty), anti-leak spout that you can push up, easy to take apart/clean, and MOST important: a large feeder mouth (what can I say; I'm lazy). I would recommend using plastic bags for the pulp container (produce/shopping). Oh, and this bugger comes with a lifetime motor warranty. Can't say much for the others' that only have up to a 2 year warranty....This review is from: Jack LaLanne\'s Ulitimate Power JucierThis product is not good. We used it to juice an apple and there was not enough juice to fill quarter a cup. The wastage was a very large amount. Some things you get no juice. The juicer pulverises it and puts it straight into the waste. It also has a burning smell. We want to get rid of it. I would not recommend this item...
