We had to juice 1/2 a flat of wheatgrass to get about one ounce of juice. So we tried an apple. The yield was also much less. We used a Jack LaLaine juicer and juiced the same size and brand of apple. Not only was it faster, we got 2/3 more juice and it tasted better. So, we called Living Whole Foods. We were shocked and disappointed to learn about the 20% restocking fee plus return shipping fees!! We were told that the juicer was now used, so they couldn't sell it as new. The funny thing is, we really believe the juicer we received was previously used. Plus, how can you find out if you like a product if you don't try it? I strongly recommend not buying this juicer. I went ahead and spent the extral money on a one mill juicer bc the centrifugal juicers I have had in the past was such a mess,terror to clean and loud! With my new Samson juicer is makes a nice low hum as the mill spins, the juice comes out so smooth with no pulp what-so-ever and the whole house hold doesn't run when I start it up haha. Its very easy to clean and re-ensemble after every use. It can be used for muliple functions ie pasta, nut butter, meat gringer ect ect. Long story short "I LOVE IT!" and Ive even made a home for it on my counter top :)...
