It separates the juice from the pulp very well and I can not taste any pulp in the finished juice. I use the miller to make soy bean milk and rice flour some times. The motor runs smoothly and not too loud at all. I've had this for over a year and it still runs great. The only complaint is that it is not that quick to clean if you don't have the dish washer machine. It takes me about 3 minutes to clean each time I use this (scrubbing the pulp out of the filter mesh is the only part that takes long, the other components are easy to deal with)....
