Now one has to wonder where do reconditioned machines come from? Probably returns that were tested and resold. Why are so many being returned? (probably because this juicer doesn't work very well) In any case, the juicer I received did juice hard fruits and vegetables fine but the puree disc didn't work at all. What I mean is, it rotated and the juicer appeared to function as it should, except what came out was lumpy, wasn't blended and had seeds in it. Ok I guess when you use the puree disc you should only feed material into the juicer that you want in your drink, so, no seeds or pith. Still, it should at least be smooth and blended, right? I mean, that's not too much to expect is it? Yeah, so I returned it. It juices hard fruit and veg fine, but why spend $200 for that? Just buy the $100 compact version that probably does the exact same thing....This review is from: Breville Refurbished Dual Disc Juice ProcessorBuy this juicer and use it everday. You will see a big difference in your overall appearance. I own one for each home. It beats carrying it from place to place....
