Makes soy milk in under 20 minutes. Cleanup is fairly easy but heed manufacturer's advice and rinse/clean grinder blade and heating elements right after you make the milk or else the soy residue will harden. Noticed that I had to adjust/rotate the top several times to get the power switch to engage. Perhaps we threw in too many soybeans. Overall we are happy with the machine. Luckily dry soy beans are available from local Korean grocery stores....This review is from: NEW 2009 Soy Milk Maker - SoyQuick Premier Milk Maker 930P (2 machines)I had very high hopes for this product, especially after reading all the hype about how wonderful it was - seemed to me the early reviews were not an accurate portrayal of this product. Priced around and $180 and the claims that makes milk in 5 min and extremely easy clean-up - that is what I was expecting. NOT SO. Even the instructions stated 20 min for nut milks and even after the extra internal screens for nut milk - it still required additional straining - WHAT A MESS!!! I get superior nut milk with far less mess using my home blender. They took my order telling me it was in stock - then after two weeks told me it was back ordered several more weeks - it took almost 2 months. After a huge disappointment with a week worth if this thing, I tried to return the item explaining that it was not as they had advertized, they told me I would have to pay to pay return shipping to Canada - not California where it shipped from (which means international shipping rate on a heavy item) plus a 25% restocking fee!! Their advertizing said I had a 90days no hassle!! I did not buy this item from Amazon - wish I had or I would have had some recourse.In any case - this is a lot of money for less than average results - my blender works better and less mess....This review is from: NEW 2009 Soy Milk Maker - SoyQuick Premier Milk Maker 930P (2 machines)I have had my soymilk maker for a couple of weeks and it really is wonderful! It is easy to use, clean up is a piece of cake and I absolutely love the way the soymilk taste. The flavor of soymilk I got from my first batch really has me excited to try more. I can't wait to experiment with all of the different recipes in the book that came with my machine. I am so happy that I can finally make milk that has no additives. 100% pure milk! I would also like to point out that the milk tastes great right to the last drop. I actually drink if before it even has a chance to go bad. The milk I used to buy from the store would go bad before the expiry date and there is nothing more frustrating and awful tasting than sour soymilk (my stomach turns just thinking about it). This has really solved that problem for me. If I had known that great tasting soymilk was this easy to make, I would have jumped on the SoyQuick bandwagon a long time ago. All I can say is . . . I love it and highly recommend it! If there was a Siskel and Ebert of soymilk makers they would give this machine two thumbs up!...
