In order to move the adjustable spout either up or down, it was necessary to also touch the rim of the juicer in order to keep the whole thing from moving around; the slightest touch would send it spinning, throwing juice everywhere . . what a mess. I had to unplug it every time I wanted to snap the spout open or closed, in order to keep the machine from turning on and spraying whatever juice was already in it--too much trouble!...
