I've done up to 6 lemons in a row with no trouble. It has a reversing feature - when you stop pushing and then push again the juicer switches rotation. Sometimes it didn't switch, but I just kept starting and stoping until the fruit was juiced. I don't think the reversal is that crucial. The spout is a little low; I guess they are expecting you to juice into a juice glass. I don't own any so I just used a short plastic cup. I was worried that the motor would not be powerful enough but it does a great job of getting all the juice. The removable parts are top rack dishwasher safe....
