I got it in white because it was a little bit less than the black one. The juicer is great for the way it is used in my household. If you are going to be juicing everyday maybe two time, or more I would say to get a model that has a stronger motor. This juicer does the job and there is nothing it can not handle. Carrots and apples with the skin on it still (less the seeds) are just a few of the things that I put in it. If you are going to make juicing part of your life and you are not really sure how much you will use it this one is the fit for you. I would not go with anything with less motor power than this one. This only gets four starts because the motor is not as strong as one of the other you can find, but outside of that it would have five stars....
